“100 Days in France” by Students of Double Degree Master program
This autumn 15 students of double degree Master program, implemented by International School of Economics and Politics, went to Angers (France) to spend semester abroad studying “International marketing” or “Human resource management” in English.
The beginning of this educational project was initiated in 2010. In 2013 double degree Master program “International Management” of Saint-Petersburg State University of Economics and University of Angers took a new format. Now Russian and French students study together in Saint-Petersburg during the second semester and the third semester they study in Partner University in France.
Teleconference “100 Days in France” took place on 8 of December. First and second-year students of the program “International Management” participated in it.
The event was conducted on the initiative of director of International School of Economics and Politics Natalia Bourova, professor and scientific advisor of the program Yuriy Myachin and academic director of the program, professor Inga Tsygankova. Second-year students Anastasia Bogatyrenko, Natalia Ivaneс, Alyona Bragina and Alexey Ershov, who study in France the fourth months, told first-year students about French visa application, getting scholarship possibilities, students dormitory or apartment rent costs, cultural activities and entertainment.
Second-year students noted education process peculiarities in France: within the studies students participate in group projects, during them it is very important to be active and initiative, to get a good final grade students should attend all lessons. Students also shared their impressions about the city and its sights: Angers has a long history and modern infrastructure. The teleconference was interesting and informative.
