Gazprom and UNECON sign Agreement on scientific research cooperation

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) is scheduled to take place in June 1-3 in Russia’s second-largest city, often also regarded as the country’s cultural capital.

The Forum will convene under the theme “Achieving a New Balance on the Global Stage”. The heads of 250 foreign companies are among those who are expected to arrive in St. Petersburg. The authorities and leading world experts will focus on discussing the main problems of the financial and economic development of the country. More than 70 Russian regional heads and over 700 of the country’s companies have also signed up to discuss key global economic and financial issues with international partners. The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is also a big platform of signing cooperation agreements and discussing key economic topics that Russia and the world face. On 2 June, Oleg Aksyutin, a Member of the Management Committee and Head of Department of Gazprom, and Igor Maksimtsev, a Rector of UNECON, signed an Agreement on scientific & technical cooperation during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
