Roundtable at the Consulate General of German Federal Republic in Saint-Petersburg

Roundtable on the actual matters of teaching German in Higher Education Institutes was at Consulate General of GFR in Saint-Petersburg September, 25.

The Heads of German Philology Research Departments from Saint-Petersburg Higher Education Institutions took part in the event. Temporary acting Head of Romano-Germanic Philology&Translations Research Department Julia Temralieva together with Markus Lorenz Mathyl –  an academic associate at DAAD were there on the behalf of Unecon.

Moderators of the Roundtable were;

During the meeting, the Heads of the Research departments presented the current situation of the teaching German at their universities, discussed challenges and opportunities of the departments development, raised issues of international cooperation.

In the frameworks of the meeting was presented the new project «Deutschhoch3», created with the support of German Academic Exchange Service. It is an e-platform for teachers of German language, which aims to raise linguistic and research competencies.
