EPFL - University in Lausanne, Switzerland launched Executive Master Program at UNECON

EPFL - Technical university in Lausanne, Switzerland launched its module «Innovative Governance of Large Urban Systems (IGLUS) Executive Master Program» at UNECON – its official academic partner.

June the 3rd was the opening ceremony of IGLUS Executive Master Program from EPFL - Technical university in Lausanne, Switzerland (Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausann) with welcome speech of UNECON Vice rector on Research and Science Elena Gorbashko, president of Foundation «Strategy» Metso, director of program Matthias Finger. Participation at the event also took Head of Fundamental and Applied Research Institute Irina Golovtsova and Executive manager of Foundation «Strategy», manager of IGLUS EPFL Program in Russia Alexey Sorokin.

Innovative Governance of Large Urban Systems (IGLUS) Executive Master Program – is an international post-diploma program for Middle and Top managers in governmental, municipal corporate organizations in the field of Urban Infrastructure management.

In the frame works of module, from June 2rd to June 8th  students from France, Switzerland, Turkey, Malaysia, India, Canada, Bangladesh and Venezuela are going to have lectures on Smart City planning and visit museum complexes of Saint-Petersburg. UNECON academicians and representors of Saint-Petersburg Administration are going to be lecturers on the course.    

Program Partners: The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), The World Bank, IBM, Engie, CityNet, Telekom Malaysia, Cemex SA de CV, Keolis, Swiss Post, Veoli and others.
