While the treasure of the XIX century was gold, the treasure of the XX century is information and knowledge. Nowadays UNECON has the largest economic library in Russia. The library stock counts more than 1.5 mln units. There is modern literature on university specialization, periodicals, belletristic literature, literature on fine arts, international literature fund. The library is a Regional information center of World Bank.
