International Advisory Board (IAB) is a collegial advisory body that was established to support the strategic development of the UNECON. The IAB consists of prominent representatives of the academia, governance in higher education and business. The IAB members may have all three qualities.
The main purpose of the IAB is to provide strategic counsel about the direction the university should follow and support its development.
The IAB is expected to evaluate the general strategy of the University, monitor its development pace, advise on strategy of internationalization, foster cooperation with leading universities and research centers and promote UNECON abroad.
The IAB will meet once a year for two consecutive days. The Rector and vice-rectors will participate in the IAB meetings. Other faculty and staff members will be invited upon request.
