«ENERGETIKA XXI: Economy, Policy, Ecology»

The conference «Energetika XXI: Economy, Policy, Ecology» was founded in 2007 as an initiative of Mr. Aleksey Miller, Chairman of the Management Committee of Gazprom. The conference has been held under auspices of «Gazprom» since that time.

The goal of the Organizing Committee was to enter the pool of leading conferences in the field of Energy Economics (i.e. events of the Oxford Institute of Energy Studies, Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei and Energy Delta Institute) until 2017.

During last twelve years more than 2800 experts from Russia, the EU, the USA and China took part in the conference. The Triple Helix approach is used and Academia, Business and Government representatives are involved in discussions to reach maximal efficiency.

Nowadays «Energetika XXI» is the important international platform to address recent developments in the energy sector on a global basis with special focus on Russia. The leading Russian and European experts from the Oxford Institute of Energy Studies, International Energy Agency, International Energy Forum, Energy Charter Secretariat, etc. take part in the Conference.

In such a fast changing environment it is vital to ensure open dialogue in energy sphere. The conference «Energetika XXI» provides space for the wide circle of academic, business and governmental experts to discuss questions of cooperation and development.
